The Noire River - I went down the Noire River for the first time when I was 12 with my dad and my sister. I will never forget the feeling of freedom I felt when the outfitter dropped us off 3 days north from our car! I had so much to learn but I was in for the adventure! To this day, I absolutely love the Noire River!
Favorite boats :
Canyon, for it's perfect for multi day white whitewater trips! It's the perfect size for 2-10 day trips, easy to maneuver and perfect for fun times in white water
Most memorable moment on water :
I think one of the most impactful moment on the water that really changed a lot of my perspective about white water is when I stood on top of the McCoy Rapid on the Ottawa River. I was 14 years old and it was my first day ever white water Kayaking. The shear volume of water that goes through Salters and Phil's Holes is breathtaking! It's one of those moment that forever makes you never miss classify what a true Class 4 rapid is.
