So many to choose from, but since I was just there this past summer and it’s fresh in my mind I’ll say the Kazan River in Nunavut.
Favorite boats :
Depending on the expedition, either the Esquif Prospecteur 17 or Esquif Canyon.
Most memorable moment on water :
A 46-day, 2000 km expedition from Yellowknife to Rankin Inlet back in 2009. It was my first big Arctic canoe trip- loaded with great paddling, adventure, and fantastic wildlife. It was also my first journey using an Esquif Prospecteur 17 – I’ve been paddling Esquif canoes ever since!
