This depends on what I am doing and which boat I am paddling.
For all-round coaching variety the River Tees in England provides the best of learning opportunity for my clients and many of my courses.
For paddling my Prospecteur either the Middle Orchy of the Garry (Invergarry) in Scotland offer challenge and great fun.
When I’m out in the L’Edge Lite The Roy in Scotland or Tees Greta in England
Favorite boats :
To quote James “You mean boats of choice of course, Esquif produce so many incredible canoes it is not possible to choose just one”.
The Prospecteur is the best pound for pound boat on the water for me. A great boat on the river and on open water. The Sport version adds more to that on the river as well.
The L’Edge Lite still delivers.
Most memorable moment on water :
I have had many and a lot stay with me, but the broad answer is how it is linked to my coaching. I like to help paddlers become safer, more skilful, better leaders and the most effective coaches. This has been my vocation.
